Mrs Lyons-Smith gets the perfect 'bed hair' look!
Parents have kick-started a fundraising campaign to develop outside play areas at St Swithun’s Prep School, by sponsoring its headmistress, Mrs Lyons-Smith to wear pyjamas to school.

Over £1,000 was raised to see the headmistress come to work in her pyjamas and slippers for the day.  Pupils thought it was hilarious to see Mrs Lyons-Smith welcoming them as they arrived at school in the morning, accompanying them for lunch and going about her daily school business.

One lucky pupil was selected at random to do Mrs Lyons-Smith's ‘bed hair'.  Glitter, hair clips and other accessories were all encouraged!

Plans are currently under development for the new outdoor play project and girls across all the years are being consulted so that their ideas can be incorporated.

Not only will the Prep School be creating a great place to stimulate imaginative play, they are also looking forward to having a landscape to enrich the girls’ educational experience and enhance their learning.
